Mentors needed

Description: Mentor teams involved in the WMPMI Collegiate Project Management Competition in project management activities

Background: The Education Council of WMPMI is busy planning an exciting visibility event for the entire chapter area. The event will be a Collegiate Project Management Competition to be held during the first quarter of 2012. Prizes for the winning teams will be awarded and we are recruiting high impact participants to serve as judges and award presenters. Judges who have already committed are: Dick Posthumous – former Lt Governor and Senate Majority Leader for the State of Michigan and also a former CEO of a furniture manufacturing company in West Michigan; Fred Keller – CEO of Cascade Engineering; and Carole Valade – Editor of the Grand Rapids Business Journal. Confirmations on other judges are in the works. We have also made a request for the award to be presented by Governor Rick Snyder but his participation has not been confirmed as of this date. This project will have a positive impact on our chapter community.

Time Commitment: 2012

Date Needed: As soon as possible for planning purposes
